Bronze

Bronze is any metal alloy of copper and tin. Bronze was the first important alloy obtained by humans and it gives its name to the prehistoric period known as the Bronze Age. Some of the main applications today are its use in mechanical parts resistant to friction and corrosion, in musical instruments, and in the manufacture of piano, harp and guitar strings.
