At Bronmetal we supply a wide variety of copper cable types to suit all our customers’ needs. All of them are intended for electrical applications and are divided into rigid cables or flexible cables.
Copper cable is characterised by its high conductivity allowing efficient transmission of electricity with minimal energy loss. In addition, copper is a material that ensures a reliable and durable connection, reducing the risk of electrical fires in the wiring of residential and commercial installations. Copper wire is used in the manufacture of electrical and electronic components, in the automotive industry and in solar and renewable energy projects, among many other uses.
In the technical data sheet section you will find all the specifications of each one of them in terms of measurements and mechanical characteristics. Cables incorporating copper conductors conform to the EN 60228 Standard which specifies the nominal cross-section and requirements for the number and size of wires and resistance values. However, copper conductor cable for overhead power lines is governed under the Standard which refers to bare hard copper conductors wired for this type of application.
